flowers vs. sea

I am weaved into jaspers, 


             but if I could—Id be a water lily


Id be a dragon fly            inspecting and lying inside


petals                 he is foam on the shore but if I could—I’d make him


a grain of sand


             Id be the debris of a sunken ship 


Id be floating dandelion fuzz, carried through
